Weekly Update #1

Friday Session

US Army Soldiers Cover A Doorway.

Yesterdays session (17th) was fantastic. Well done to all members and I think we succeeded in both missions, besides the second having a fair few amount of casualties. Teamwork was shown and in the first mission we would return home with 70% of us left and hey at least it was not a massacre. (R.I.P BLACKOUT, FRIENDLY FIRE VICTIM) So yeah, that was an awesome session and I am looking forward to next Friday. 

US Marines Move To Clear A Town.

The session next week will still go on as normal despite the fact of our hoster being away. Same usual time (21:00 GMT) and like normal it would be good if you could show up to the pre-session which is 15 minutes earlier just so we can make sure mods are working and we can start on time.

Recruitment

We are still open to new players, so if you know anyone who is interested in ARMA that is skeptical about playing how we play just bring them along to a normal Friday session. Make sure they are all modded up and they can see what the sessions are like. If you know anyone who does want to play but doesn't have ARMA, on the Humble Bundle, the current weekly bundle is the Bohemia Interactive Bundle which includes ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead for $7 or £4.26. I plan on acquiring one or two so if we do know people who want to play then I can send the copies. However make sure they actually understand how we play by watching one of our videos, etc.

Modlist Information

As of now our modlist is remaining the same although when some of the mods we are looking at have been released on PlayWithSix then we plan on updating. It will contain some unit, weapon and map modifications meaning we can play with more variety in our missions in different locations. Hopefully we can figure out the custom playset function meaning anyone who uses PlayWithSix can just get it and download it.

Non-ArmA Info

A few members including myself have started playing Planetside 2 together. If anyone does play it or is interested in it then give me a shout. We play on Cobalt as the one and only good faction, Terran Republic. Chivalry : Medieval Warfare, War Of The Vikings, Mount & Blade Warband, Starbound and DayZ Standalone are also played by many members so again if you are interested in playing with each other just ask people, I'm sure they will join you, everyone is in the Steam group so you can friend them up there, etc.

Thats about it for this week, once again Fridays session was a blast and I'm definitely looking forward to the next!
